This quilt is made from an African cloth panel called a Kanga. THE KANGA is a rectangle of pure cotton cloth with a border all around it, printed in bold designs and bright colours.It was made to celebrate the new presidency of President Barack Obama. The words mean: “Congratulations Barack Obama. God has blessed us with peace and love.”

This is a great gold and black quilt. Hand quilted with the United States quilted onto the center. I have painstackingly stitched each state accurately. The binding is sewn to the front and hand stitched to the back of the quilt. Made in a smoke free pet free environment.
