Beauty and Pride is an original art quilt by Aisha Lumumba. This quilt is a lovely peacock created from scrap triangular fabrics left over from another quilt. It has beads encircling blue-green circular fabric that mimics the featured tips on the peacock. The beads took so long to attach by hand that I put it away and forgot it for awhile. Now is it finally finished and looking for a good home. Great gift.
Machine pieced and quilted. Hand embroidered. Hand beaded decorations. Professionally quilted. The binding is machine sewn to the front and hand stitched to the back of the quilt. It includes a sleeve for hanging on the back. It is also easily framed. Made in a smoke free pet free environment.
