Biggie is an original art quilt by Aisha Lumumba. It is a portrait created with an array of fabrics appliqued with the New York Brooklyn Bridge in the background. Christopher George Latore Wallace was his born-name. He was best known as “Biggie”. (May 21, 1972 – March 9, 1997), but also known by his stage names the Notorious B.I.G., Biggie Smalls, or simply Biggie, was an African American rapper. He was rooted in the New York rap scene and gangsta rap.
Professionally machine quilted. The binding is machine sewn to the front and hand stitched to the back of the quilt. It includes a sleeve for hanging on the back. Made in a smoke free pet free environment.
