This quilt is a portrait of Mrs. Artelia Reese. She was a wonderful teacher at Henry County High School. It is not often that you find a teacher that greatly impacts your life. Mrs. Reese was that kind of teacher and many of her students attest to that. Not every teacher is a beloved teacher, but Mrs. Artelia Reese was truly loved by many. She worked in the school system for 33 years and was consistently the favorite teacher of many students, year after year. She was delightful, frank, fashionable, helpful and caring.
